MAY: ICON joined the LEAH Foundation in hosting the Sew Freedom event, held in Abuja FCT, Nigeria, as a multi-faith summit promoting religious freedom and security. The event was hosted by the IRF Roundtable Nigeria, as well as a network group of organizations, partners and individuals.
JUNE: African Jewish Alliance, which ICON is a member, held a highly successful conference in Washington to raise awareness of slavery and terrorism in Africa.
SEPTEMBER: Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez working with African diaspora and African Jewish Alliance creating awareness on terror attacks and enslavement of Africans.
